Warranty, Claims, Repairs & Limitation of Damages
   
  This product is warranted for one (1) year by D-fa Ltd (New Zealand) against defects in its d-fa design and manufacture. We warrant the original retail purchaser (“you”) that our dog jackets, collars and D-FDs (“products”) will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of purchase.

Our sole obligation to you is to repair or replace, at our option, a non-conforming product at no cost to you other than the cost of packing, insuring, and shipping the product to us at the address specified on the contact us page. To request warranty repairs, send your clean product postage prepaid to us.

Please be aware that mistreatment, misuse, improper care or modification can void this warranty. All warranty claims must be accompanied by a valid dated sales receipt and a note describing the nature of the product problem.  


Limitation of Damages
Dogs love the outdoors, and most of the time they’re happy to work with what nature gave them, but that’s not always for the best.

Our products help to keep your dog more comfortable and safe when on adventures with you.  

You are the pack leader and you’ve got the opposable thumbs so it’s up to you to use commonsense and avoid subjecting your dog to extreme or dangerous conditions.  

Please take care when your dog is in dense brush or places where debris or natural hazards may risk injury through entrapment.

We are not responsible to you or to any third party for any injuries to your dog or to any person or for any incidental, consequential or special damages arising out of your use of our products.


Repairs
Important Information   If you need a jacket repaired, please woof@d-fa.com for instructions of where to send it and what to do.

The most important thing is that the jacket is clean when it is sent for repairs. Please wash the jacket before sending it to us. Repairs cannot be made to jackets that are d-fa-dirty.   If for some reason there is a factory fault with a jacket, please growl at us (growl@d-fa.com) and we will arrange for it to be fixed or replaced.  

Please also see our warranty statement. We are always happy to repair a jacket, however the warranty doesn’t cover jackets that were damaged through chewing, playing tug with another dog or any other d-fa-destructive behaviors.
